Employees and students living in impacted areas and working at or attending the other two colleges or the District Office can contact their supervisor or faculty members for an approved absence if they are unable to be at work/classes.

A message from Moorpark College: Saturday classes have been canceled. Currently, we are scheduled to resume classes on Tuesday, November 13th following the Veterans Day holiday. UPDATE (11/9/18 at 10am): Oxnard College campus will close today at 12 p.m. due to smoke from the Woolsey/Hill fires. Student Workers and Provisional Employees can pick up paychecks on campus until 12 p.m. and then at the VCCCD District Administrative Center, 761 East Daily Drive, Suite 200, Camarillo, after 1 p.m. Questions should be directed to your immediate supervisor. Moorpark College to Cancel Friday Classes and Close Campus
(CAMARILLO, Calif.) Nov. 8, 2018 – Moorpark College has canceled Friday classes and closed the campus as a result of the Woolsey Fire and related events. The Board of Trustees, Chancellor Gillespie, President Sanchez, and Moorpark, Oxnard, and Ventura colleges are following the situation and keeping students, faculty, and staff informed. Updated information is available on District and college social media platforms, the District newsroom and Woolsey Fire Update page.
Oxnard and Ventura colleges and the District Administrative Center will maintain normal class and work schedules on Friday. Health Center professionals continue to provide valuable resources for students, staff, and faculty. Center information is as follows:
