Ten Oxnard College students were selected from a competitive national application process to participate in NASA Community College Aerospace Scholar program (NCAS). Six of the original 10 were selected among 403 students nationwide to attend a four-day Engineering Design Workshop at a NASA Center this summer.
Those six students were recognized at the Feb. 19, 2019 Board of Trustees meeting. Two students, Pablo Higuera and Lazaro Garza, were in attendance at the meeting to receive Board recognition.
