California Mayors’ Cyber Cup hosted at Moorpark College

Moorpark College hosted our region’s California Mayors’ Cyber Cup competition on Saturday, Feb. 23. The statewide cyber security contest included middle and high school students participating in the competition. The competition engaged students in real-life cyber security threat scenarios in which they used technical skills and leading cyber practices. 

In attendance at the event was Chancellor Greg Gillespie, Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin, City of Moorpark Mayor Janice Parvin, Ventura County Supervisor Bob Huber, and City of Port Hueneme Mayor Sylvia Munoz Schnopp.
