MOORPARK COLLEGE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL CLAIMS FIRST OUTRIGHT CONFERENCE TITLE SINCE 1990

Come out and support the Women’s Basketball on Saturday, March 2nd at 7 p.m. as they will be playing in the second round of the Southern California Regional playoffs. They will play the winner of the Cerritos and Citrus game which will be held on Wednesday. 
As mandated by the state, admissions will be $12 for Adults and $8 for Students/Faculty/Staff and Seniors.
If we win, we will be playing at HOME again on Saturday, March 9th.

Moorpark College women’s basketball is the No. 1 team in the state

The Moorpark College women’s basketball team is 14-0 and the No. 1 community college team in the state.

The Raiders have been rolling through their competition, including four tournament victories. Their most recent came Sunday with a 68-49 win over Cypress College in the Antelope Valley College Tournament.

Led by fourth-year coach Kenny Plummer, Moorpark is averaging 81.1 points per game while allowing just 51.3, which ranks seventh-best in the state. The team is also ranked first in free-throw percentage (78), second in assists per game (19.5), and third in field goal percentage (44.2).
