VCCCD Chancellor, Dr. Gillespie announced that President Luis Sanchez will move from serving as acting President to serving as the interim Oxnard College President for this academic year.
Chancellor Gillespie expressed, “we are fortunate to have an experienced college President from our district filling this important leadership role…please join me in congratulating and welcoming President Sanchez to the interim President position!”
The announcement stated the district will be opening the interim President for Moorpark College position next week. This position will be posted internally to district employees and will be open for two weeks. Dr. Julius Sokenu is currently serving as acting President at the college.
