The last meeting of the fiscal year was well attended by members of the VCCCD and greater community.
Highlights from the June 2019 Board Meeting started with the swearing-in of the new Student Trustee for the 2019-20 academic year. Jessica Martinez, Oxnard College student and Sociology major, was sworn in by Chair McKay for item 4.01.
New employees, Mariana Gaeta, Financial Aid Technician at Ventura College and Dalia Guerrero, Office Assistant at Oxnard College, were acknowledged by the Board. Followed by the recognition of retiree Jesus Dagum for his dedication and years of service, offering congratulations upon retirement. Jesus began his service at Oxnard College on March 3, 1997 as a custodian.
