About:
Laura began working at VCCCD in October of 2007, coming from a local K-12 district. She serves as the liaison between the Vice Chancellor and colleges and district staff. Laura has institutional knowledge of the Business Services Department and is well versed in the District’s budget models, policies and procedures, as well as various processes in the division. She is often the first point of contact for information requests that come from inside and outside the District. Laura was the recipient of the Classified Employee of the Year in 2016, an honor voted on by her peers. She enjoys traveling and camping. She has recently rediscovered her love of crafting, especially all things Cricut. Originally from Rochester, New York, Laura and her husband live in Santa Paula with their beautiful, high energy boxer, Bella; she has three adult sons and four grandchildren.
Fun Fact: Laura and her husband recently celebrated their 30th anniversary and are HUGE Raiders fans.
