This summer Moorpark College Theatre Arts produced “The Little Shop of Horrors” in its Studio Theatre in a theatre-in–the-round setting. The production enjoyed a completely SOLD OUT run including the FREE student matinee. The production featured a cast and crew of 45 students and 4 Audrey II plant puppets that worked in three dimensions and fully interacted with the audience. The cast themselves became part of the plant from outer space as they took over the stage thanks to the innovative Costume Design by student Designer Jaz Johnson. The energetic and highly creative Choreography by Moorpark College Dance instructor, Nancy Ferraro-Paradis, enhanced the eerily costumed cast with physical and vocal performances that brought a new and exciting energy to this cult horror classic!
