During Hispanic Heritage Month, Moorpark College hosted a special event with Cesar L. Chavez in the Campus Center Conference Room. Chavez discussed his grandfather’s life and work as an activist in the farm worker’s movement and the National Farm Workers Association. He also shared how the work of the Cesar Chavez Foundation continues to support Latinos and working families.
