MC Captain’s Council Hosts Food Drive

The Moorpark College Captain’s Council is hosting a canned food drive to support the Moorpark College Food Pantry. Every year the Captain’s Council comes together to find ways for the Athletic Department to support programs on campus and give back to the community. In 2017, the Capatain’s Council held a food drive in which proceeds were given to their sister college, Ventura College, to support the campus and community in the aftermanth of the Thomas Fire.

This year the food drive is happening Feb. 1 through March 1. Donation bins are located in the Administration Building, Campus Center, and Athletic Office. If you can’t make it to one of the donation locations a member of the athletic department will be more than happy to swing by your office or classroom to pick-up donations. All proceeds will be going to the Moorpark College Food Pantry which serves the campus and the community.
