The Oxnard College Foundation is not only interested in student success but we are also interested in the safety and well-being of everyone on campus. Our mission is to provide support to campus development, student scholarships, educational programs, and other college needs. Because of this, we purchased Tactical Vests for our campus police officers. The tactical vests purchased were custom made for each officer and designed to fit each individual’s equipment. The vest allows the amount of weight on the belt to be transferred to the vest, distributing the weight more evenly and making it much more comfortable. We want to make sure our officers are not only safe but that they are comfortable when on duty. This is one small way for OCF to show that we care.
